Youth Changes - 2025

To all Youth parents and players!

Auckland Hockey has some updates for this year's Youth competition format. This season, ALL the youth games will be held on Sunday mornings instead of the usual Friday nights. After teams are registered, they'll go through some grading rounds before moving on to competition rounds, which will be divided based on ability to ensure everyone gets into some competitive hockey!

To join, you'll need to be 16 or younger as of January 1st, 2025. But don't worry, if you're 16 or older and still in school—there's still the ability to apply for dispensation so that you can play in the right competition in your hockey journey.

If you're over 16, please think about joining the divisional trials this Saturday! Just head over to the events page on our website and register to get stuck into some awesome hockey.
