Help Define Western's New Identity

We need your ideas to define Western's modern identity!

Many amazing teams play in reds, whites and greys - Japan's Brave Blossoms, Chicago Bulls, Montreal Canadiens & Western ...

Tell us what it means to you to be a Westie, then send us your ideas for Western’s new moniker. Something to chant, something to wear on our chest, something to get in behind - AN IDENTITIY TO BE PROUD OF!

The process of unifying our brand under a new moniker will take place in three parts:

1. We ask for submissions for the club moniker/nickname! Something you think represents the flair, community, pride and respect Westies have for one another and the amazing sport of hockey. Get as creative as you like - we're keen to see your ideas drawn if you feel like it! You'll have a couple of weeks to get your ideas in, but don't miss it - we'd love to hear your thoughts.
2. After a couple of weeks of ideas submissions - we'll filter out any duplicates/ineligible or inappropriate submissions and take it to the committee who will narrow it down to the most popular and the ones that best reflect Western's values. We'll then design up some of the initial ideas with suitable graphics, ready for our community to have their say!
3. The most popular ideas will be put on display where people can then vote for their favourites. Voting will be limited to Western members who will be able to choose which ones they best identify with. Once the closed voting is done - we'll tally it up, refine any imagery and announce the new brand for Western Districts.

From there, we'll begin putting our shared identity on jackets, shirts, hoodies and similar - quality gear for an amazing community!
