Become Avondale's Academy Coach

Position Details:

• Role Focus: Coaching at the Avondale College Hockey Academy (no games involved)
• Schedule: 5 days a fortnight

Week 1: Monday, Wednesday, & Friday (7:30 AM - 8:30 AM)
Week 2: Tuesday & Thursday (7:30 AM - 8:30 AM)

• Schedule: 5 days a fortnight
• Coaching Group Size: 6 - 10 students

Coaching Requirements:

• Experience: Previous hockey coaching experience is preferred, but not mandatory.
• Commitment: Must adhere to the scheduled times and dates.
• Qualifications: Coaching qualifications are recommended but not required.

Employment Benefits:

• Compensation: Starting rate of $30 per session, with potential for an increase in 2026 based on program growth and performance.
• Professional Development: Opportunity for feedback and growth in the role.
• Requirements: Candidates must pass a police vetting process to work with students. A contract will be signed and a key will be provided upon meeting with the director.
