Passing/Receiving

Reverse Passing

Have players face one another with a small gate between them. Passing the ball with your body facing forward, hands apart, knocking the ball with the edge of their stick. Make sure the ball is out in front and not too far away. Slight tap of the ball (not a huge back-swing). Can be made off the left and right foot

Variations/Coaching Tips

• Good first touch before they edge pass
• Eyes up to connect with opposite player
• Making sure the ball is not too far away
• Increase the distance as they get better
• Keeping their stick on the ground and not using the back of the stick
• Hands must be apart
