Playing Days & Grades (Winter Season)
Senior Competition
The Senior competition is suited to men and women over the age of 18 years. There are six grades in each competition ranging from Premier to Division 4. Playing days are as follows:
- Saturday - Premier, Division 1 & Division 3
- Sunday - Reserve, Division 2 & Division 4

Youth Competition
The Youth competition is a club based competition for players at secondary school and under the age of 18. There are two teams each for boys and girls. Playing days are typically as follows:
- Friday Night - Premier Boys, Premier Girls
- Sunday Afternoon / Evening - Championship Boys & Championship Girls
Note: Some Championship games are played on Friday nights.

Junior Competition
The Junior competition is a club based competition for players at primary and intermediate school age (Years 1 - 8). All matches are played on Saturday mornings at venues across Auckland. The competition is split into four grades based on Year level at school.
- Kwik Sticks (Year 7 & 8) 11-a-side
- Kiwi Sticks (Year 5 & 6) 7-a-side
- Mini Sticks (Year 3 & 4) 6-a-side
- Fun Sticks (Year 1 & 2) Fundamental skills module

Club Uniform

Senior Women / Youth Girls:
Red Shirt (supplied by club)
Grey Skort ($45 from Club)
Red socks (available from the Club priced at $15 per pair, or from Just Hockey or any sports shop)
Senior Men / Youth Boys:
Red Shirt (supplied by club)
White Shorts ($40 from Club)
Red socks (available from the Club priced at $15 per pair, or from Just Hockey or any sports shop)
Junior Boys & Girls:

White Shorts need to be worn for our Fun Sticks and Mini Sticks grade teams - school years 1-4
Red Shorts need to be worn for all our Kiwi and Kwik sticks grade teams - school years 5-8
Red socks (available from the Club priced at $15 per pair, or from Just Hockey or any sports shop)
Players wishing to purchase shorts or skorts should contact the appropriate club captain.
2018 Fees
Payment Options:
- Credit Card via ClubHub
- Internet Banking/Bank Transfer: Please put "CH-00nnnnn" in the Particulars Field. The "nnnnnn" is your 6 letter Club Hub Username.
- Account Details: Western Districts Hockey Club Inc. BNZ 02-0184-0074740-00
- Automatic Payment: You can set up an Automatic Payment with your Club Captain. Please put "CH-00nnnnnn" in the Particulars Field. The "nnnnnn" is your 6 digit account number assigned by ClubHub and can be found when you log into ClubHub to make a payment. This will negate the late payment fees and No Pay No Play cut-off date.
All Grades:
- Fees are due in FULL by no later than Friday 20th April 2018.
- An automatic payment can be set up in lieu of full fees up front.
- A $50 late fee will apply if you have not paid by that date or set up an automatic payment - NO EXCUSES AND NO EXCEPTIONS.
No Pay No Play Policy:
- A no pay, no play policy will be enforced on the 4th of May 2018.
- Another $50 late fee will appy if you still have an unpaid balance on that date - NO EXCUSES AND NO EXCEPTIONS.

Training Times
Winter season team trainings are generally held at Avondale College, Ken Maunder Park training shed (juniors only), and on the odd occassion, a senior or youth team may be rostered to the Waitakere turf. Each team trains typically once per week, however, some senior teams train twice per week. Training is held in the evenings.
